Leopard glyphs: update
The Leopard glyphs for Mail and Preview have been updated to fix some issues, and a second set of glyphs has joined them.
The glyphs now come in two formats: there is the “normal” state, which puts general usability first, and there is the “Leopard+” state, which puts consistency first.
The “normal” state is lighter than the Leopard glyphs found in Finder and Safari, because neither Preview nor Mail have specific inactive states for the glyphs. The “normal” state therefore looks good in both active and inactive windows.
The “Leopard+” state uses the same colours as the glyphs in Finder and Safari, but this implies that on inactive windows, the glyphs appear very strongly to the user. The “Leopard+” is therefore ideal for active windows, but not so much for inactive ones.
The glyphs are still available from the same address, i.e. here.
Download, install, and enjoy.
And you should know that MacThemes user Omega is making a variant with larger borders and some redesigned glyphs. It’s looking good, and I’ll post here when they come out.
