Arpia forum troubles
For those who visit the Arpia forum, it is currently down. The reason is that I have encountered substantial problems relating to the database and to the templates, and am therefore in the process of trying to re-install the whole thing.
I’m afraid all access to the forum will be cut until I can fix this.
SFA’ers and ARPIA2′ers, I would suggest finding temporary shelter back on the EV Nova boards. Or you can use this post or the ARPIA2 page to discuss your woes.

Ouch, this isn’t a good thing to hear about. I didn’t know things were such a mess. Hope you can get it all fixed soon!

It’s actually a really complicated situation, because the cache generated by phpBB3 decided to completely bail on us, thereby creating error messages all the time.
I suspect it may be linked to FTP issues, because I’m also getting errors on fresh phpBB3 installations.

Hey there,
I just purchased an Arpian Spacecraft, and the white HUD is killing me! How can I get it switched back to the “normal” style one? Is this even possible?
Thank you,
gb

Hi Greenbeam,
Sad to hear it’s too bright for you. I’ve created a fix allowing you to have the “normal” interface, so grab it here.

For those interested, I’m looking for people to test a new configuration I’ve set up. If interested, contact me via the form on the “About” page or by e-mail if you already have the address.

The new board is coming along nicely. You guys should be interested to hear that there’s a new karma system in place, and it wasn’t made possible through hacking PHP code either.
