Music
"Music is the expression of the soul", they say.
My composing has gone through many different stages, from my early "rock" songs (for a rock band, Earthwise) to even an "electronic" phase (blending synth, piano and rhythm among others), and while I am not a fan of certain of the genres, some people might like to hear something "different". Some of the pieces you can hear here are many years old, while others are brand new.
You’ll note that not one of them, even those with lyrics, has any vocals. The vocals have been replaced by whistling (in one case) and by the piano (in many others) to avoid inflicting any serious pain on the listeners.
I consider my favourites to be Nuit, What Might Have Been, Souvenirs, Ombres et Collines & Dear Chère Lieve. At least, they’re the ones that take my fancy at the time of this writing (March 2010). Perhaps it’s just because many of them are recent.
Note: you can also listen to these compositions through an iTunes-like web interface by clicking here. Enjoy!
