Souvenirs

Souvenirs is probably the only song in all those I have whose date of creation remains a mystery, because while I know it has existed for some time, I never recorded it (until Saturday 26th of April 2008, where I realised how harder it is to play on a keyboard than on a real piano). All I know is that its birth dates from somewhere between 2005 and 2008.

It’s a classical piece, and its melody of the beginning and end somehow reminded me of the film "The Pianist".

In any event, it is one of my favourite classical pieces. Perhaps because it speaks to me. Perhaps because it’s simple (for the most part).

    Nice and simple. Another good classical style piece. You’ve certainly been a more productive composer than I have.

    Wow, beautiful. I stumbled across this whilst wandering around the ARPIA2 site. The start is definitely very The Pianist yeah.

    Beautiful and complete melody. Instead of “The Pianist”, it reminds me of an old movie “The Piano”.
