Monet - Saint-Georges majeur au crépuscule

San Giorgio Maggiore at Dusk is a beautiful painting by the famous French impressionist Claude Monet. If you're not an art person but a film buff, you may know it from the film The Thomas Crown Affair.

Final, built "painting":

(some of the differences between the version generated and the version built are linked to the fact that I wanted to have a multiple of 8 for the height - easier to build an underlying canvas that way - while others are linked to the fact that e.g. 1x1 dark red is not available)

Arpian Subarashii

The Subarashii is a spaceship design that was created by Dafydd Williams, Scott Vardy, Philip Chick & Steve Chick for my game plug-in ARPIA2, and I reused the lovely space scene as the cover for my Arpia novel. As you can tell, I really like the image.

As shown, the spaceship cannot in parts be distinguished from the rest, as it also features the brown colour. For this reason, I decided to add a grey outline around the ship and make the entire ship "3D", as in a second layer above the background.

(some of the differences between the version generated and the version built are linked to the fact that I have improved the generator since - others are linked to the fact that e.g. 1x1 dark red is not available)
