The title Ouest stems from the fact that parts of this song evoke the image of a group of cowboy outlaws on horseback, and for the rest it speaks to me of a journey or quest akin to those undertaken by buccaneers, pirates and corsairs on the high seas back in the days of the British Empire and Spanish Armada. Don’t ask me why, I think it has something to do with the rhythm.
