Two new songs
Sometimes, I sit in front of the piano and start playing random stuff, and every now and again, something strikes me as having potential.
Some of these songs are created and then set aside because I no longer like them, while others are forgotten.
And some are recorded.
As a result, there are two new songs in the “Music” section: Far From The Homeland, and Nuit.
Listen to them and let me know what you think.
Eagle Eye: big, bad computers
This evening, my brother, my sister and I went to the cinema, and we watched Eagle Eye, because it seemed entertaining and fun, judging by the trailer. Plus, in Belgium, it’s the “Brico Film Days”, which means three days where cinema tickets only cost 3 Euros, and we got ours free.
At first, I thought it would be a really cool plot of cyber-terrorism. But then I saw who the “big baddie” was, and I was really let down.

Combining Leopard themes your way
I’ve recently been asked to make a small tutorial on how to combine one aspect of iTunesque with iLeopard, because iLeopard did not include that specific option and did things differently.
Here is therefore a tutorial on how to combine elements of themes you like on Mac OS X Leopard.
La Résistance lives on
Last year, Peter Craddock decided to write his lecture notes electronically, using the MacBook his parents had offered to him for his 20th birthday. And one day, coming back from university, two girls gave him the idea of putting his notes on the web, accessible to all the other students.
He did it, and was rewarded by a hugely positive response. Over the course of two months, many of the 400 students downloaded the notes over and over again, amounting to over 3000 downloads by Christmastime.
iTunesque updated for iTunes 8
iTunes 8 came out a few days ago, and with it came some changes to the iTunes file used in a number of iTunesque variants to change the traffic lights. As such, an update was necessary.
This means the installers for all Aquaffic variants are bigger now (around 45 MBs compressed), but they’ll work whether you have iTunes 7 or iTunes 8.
Being a tourist in Prague
Speaking a number of languages and easily picking up on similarities between languages has enabled to find my way easily in most parts of the world I’ve visited. The last time I was in a country that didn’t use a language in any way similar to English, French, Dutch or German, I was in Egypt. Even then, most of the signs were also in English, if I recall correctly.
But when I arrived in Prague (Czech Republic) on Friday, I realised that I was at a total loss. Czech isn’t anywhere near any of those languages, so I sometimes had to become something I hate being: a true tourist.
